Price adjustments in Swiss public transport from 2026

Important tariff news for travel experts and tour operators who create travel packages for Switzerland or sell Swiss public transport tickets: As of 1 January 2026, prices for the Swiss Travel Pass (Flex) and the Swiss Half Fare Card will be adjusted. The changes affect both price levels and product application areas. Below you will find all relevant details for your planning and communication.

New prices from 1 January 2026
The Swiss Travel Pass (Flex) will become on average five percent more expensive for travel from 1 January 2026. This adjustment reflects growing tourist demand and Switzerland’s increasing appeal as a travel destination.

Price change for the Swiss Half Fare Card
The price of the Swiss Half Fare Card will increase from CHF 120 to CHF 150, aligning it with the price level of the Swiss Half Fare travelcard and harmonising its position within the Swiss tariff system.

Swiss Family Card remains unchanged
The free Swiss Family Card remains unchanged in both price and scope of services.

No changes in the “National Direct Transport” system

Products such as day passes or point-to-point tickets remain unchanged. Local adjustments by regional transport networks or individual transport companies may still occur.

  • Bus alpin: Chamues-ch–Albulapass–Preda
