Lugano/Bellinzona to Luzern/Arth-Goldau (or vice versa)​

Starting in Lugano and Bellinzona, this panoramic train (1st class only) runs along the historic Gotthard Railway route from the Italian-speaking south to Central Switzerland. From Flüelen, the journey can either be continued by boat to Lucerne (1st and 2nd class) or by train to Arth-Goldau. ​

  • Accessibility ​​– The panorama train is not wheelchair-accessible and does not have accessbible toilets.​

Comfort and services on board – Boat Cruise​

  • Scenic cruise​ ​– Boat trip across Lake Lucerne (steam or motor, depending on timetable).​

  • Catering ​– ​Restaurant on board. Booking advised for individuals, required for groups (large groups: pre-order menus).​

  • Accessibility - All boats are wheelchair-accessible with a wheelchair-accessible toilet, except for the motor vessel ‘Rütli’.​
