Point-to-Point Tickets
From attractive group tickets to tickets for day trips, the Swiss Travel System offers a variety of ticketing options for all needs.
Point-to-Point Tickets
For individual trips, single and return tickets are available for 1st and 2nd class. Point-to-point tickets are available as different types:
- Single trip or return trip.
- Holders of a Swiss Half Fare Card or children and young people who are at least 6 and under 25 years are eligible for up to 50% discount off the regular fare.
- To be able to benefit from the group discount, the group journey must be booked at least two working days before departure.
Parents without a Swiss Travel System ticket can obtain a Junior travelcard at CHF 30 per child under 16 years of age. With this card, the child travels free of charge in the company of a parent.
1-Day Travel Pass
The 1-day travel pass can be obtained in combination with the Swiss Half Fare Card. It is the perfect companion for a day trip by train, bus and boat – as well as on trams and buses in most Swiss towns and cities. 1-day travel passes are available for 1st and 2nd class.
Groups
Groups of ten or more persons are eligible for a group ticket at 30% discount off the regular fare. Single and return tickets are available for 1st and 2nd class. Standard group tickets are available in different types:
- Single trip, return trip.
- Holders of a Swiss Half Fare Card are eligible for up to 50% discount off the regular fare.
