Swiss Travel System Excellence Rewards Tour 2024.

From 10-13 April, around 50 selected distribution partners from overseas met for the second Swiss Travel System Rewards Tour in Zurich.

We were delighted that so many participants accepted our invitation to Switzerland to celebrate Swiss public transport. A varied programme offered the top-selling agents from as far as China and Australia multifaceted insights into Zurich as a destination and sustainable public transport. A few highlights:

The first day focused on discovering Zurich. Three different workshops allowed them to get to know the city and its highlights. One of these was a forest and herb walk on the Uetliberg, where the participants learned all about Zurich’s natural beauty.

Then it was time to cool off on the idyllic Lake Zurich. A boat trip offered a new perspective on the pulsating metropolis for many participants – accompanied by expertly crafted drinks. Later, the small boat took everyone directly to the dinner location. In the Restaurant “Fischerstube”, our guests were spoiled with a delicious meal and magnificent views of Zurich. The ultimate highlight, however, was the game “1, 2 oder 3”, which is popular in German-speaking countries.

The last day began with an exciting city tour through Rapperswil, followed by a visit to the Bächlihof. There, various workshops focused tourism in the digital age.

In the afternoon, it was time to unveil the announced surprise activity: the Farmers’ Olympics. Entertaining team games put everyone’s skills to the test.

In the evening, the Gala Night took place in the chic Restaurant La Salle. Guests were pampered with a delicious four-course menu, while a band provided top-notch entertainment. The highlight of the evening? The award ceremony. Each distribution partner was personally honoured with an award for their performance in 2023.

With the Rewards Tour, we thank all those involved for their commitment to Swiss public transport. The positive feedback encourages us to host another Rewards Tour next year – of course, again with a festive supporting programme, the opportunity to network and to experience travel by train, bus and boat up close.
