Glacier Express: Re-opening of the Mattertal line (Brig-Zermatt) as of Monday, 26.08.2024
After a nine-week interruption and rail replacement between Brig and Zermatt, the repair work on the railroad line, which was badly damaged by the flooding, can now be completed. The Glacier Express will therefore run continuously on the original route again from 26.08.2024 in accordance with the timetable.
The Glacier Express trains (900/902/904/903/905/907) will run from/to Zermatt again from the start of operations on Monday, 26.08.2024.
