The Landwasser World: A combination of nature, culture and technology


The Landwasser World is a gateway to the Landwasser Viaduct. This new attraction provides an immersive way to explore the viaduct from multiple perspectives—above, below, and up close. Featuring scenic experiences, nature trails, and cultural experiences, it is designed to enrich travel itineraries while promoting sustainability.

The Rhaetian Railway in the Albula / Bernina Landscapes is celebrated for its seamless integration of engineering excellence and natural beauty and was named UNESCO World Heritage. The Landwasser Viaduct, with its six towering limestone arches, represents the pinnacle of this achievement.

Key attractions and experiences
The Landwasser World is composed of five adventure worlds that each highlight a unique side of the region. The adventure worlds railway, culture, agriculture, forest and water offer curated experiences, allowing visitors to explore the landmark and its surroundings in an engaging and structured manner.

Landwasser Express: A scenic train journey from Filisur station to the viaduct, offering panoramic views and insights into the viaduct’s significance.

Historical train ride: Daily trips between Davos Platz and Filisur aboard vintage carriages from the 1920s. The journey showcases stunning alpine landscapes, including the Zügen Gorge and Wiesen Viaduct.

Viaduct shuttle: Direct transport to the Hennings viewing platform, where the viaduct can be observed in all its grandeur, making it a key highlight for photography and sightseeing.

Darlux chairlift: A chairlift offering panoramic views and access to alpine trails, complemented by local cuisine at the La Diala mountain restaurant.

Ansaina waterway: A riverside trail featuring interactive stations that celebrate the role of water in the region. Highlights include sulfur-iron springs and the view of the viaduct.

Las Sorts Organic Farm: A farm dedicated to sustainable agriculture. Visitors can discover local potato varieties and purchase fresh products.
